Rawy ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Rawy mobile application (the "App"), which helps people discover local businesses near them. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Account Information When you create an account, we collect your phone number for verification (via SMS code), and if you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
Profile and Business Information If you register a business account, we collect and store the information you provide, including your business name, username, bio, website, WhatsApp number, physical address, and opening hours. This information is shown publicly to other users of the App.
Location Information With your permission, we collect your device's location to show you businesses near you and to calculate approximate distances. You can control location access at any time through your device settings. If location access is denied, you can still use the App's other features, but the "Near" feed will not be available.
We also store the location of a business, if the business owner chooses to pin it on the map when setting up their profile. This is used to show the business's location to other users and to calculate distance for nearby discovery.
Photos and Videos When you create a post, we collect and store the photos or videos you upload, along with any caption you write. This content is stored securely and is publicly visible to other users of the App.
Usage Information We automatically collect certain information about how you use the App, such as which posts you view, save, or report, to operate and improve the App's core features (for example, showing you your saved posts).

Verify your identity via SMS
Show your business profile and posts to other users
Show you nearby businesses based on your location

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
With other users: your business profile, posts, and public information are visible to other users of the App by design.
Service providers: we work with trusted third-party service providers for authentication, data storage, and app infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or protect the safety of our users.
Data Storage and Security
Your information is stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure providers. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices

Edit your profile and business information at any time from the app
Delete individual posts you've created
Delete your account entirely, which removes your profile and associated data
Control location permission through your device settings

Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
